***********SHORT TERM ASSIGNMENT- 5 MONTHS DURATION*************Kelly Automotive Services Group is currently seeking TWO Mechanic Technicians to work at one of the "BIG 3" automotive manufacturing companies supplier located in Springfield, Ohio.Hours" 36 HOURS A WEEKWork Hours: 5:30 am - 6:00 pm, 5:30 pm - 6:00 am Standard Shift: DAYPosition Description:
Functions as part of an Integrated Manufacturing Team to continually monitor production throughput and act accordingly to maintain optimal equipment utilization.Repairs, installs, replace and tests electrical circuits, equipment and appliances. Uses hand tools and testing instruments.Dismantles electrical machinery and replaces electrical or mechanical parts such as gears, brushes, and armatures.Mounts motors, transformers and lighting fixtures into position according to specification.Maintains, repairs and installs various types of pneumatic logic hydraulic equipment and related devices such as plastic molding, precision tooling, paint and test systems.Inspects, diagnoses, maintains or repairs various types of machinery, such as motors, pumps, conveyor belts, fans,Performs incidental electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and hydraulic or pneumatic system work, including disconnect-reconnect on machines being repaired or replaced.Adjusts, disassembles, and reassembles with proper fit and tolerance so that machine will operate properly. Reworks or replaces worn parts, bearings and ways; performs necessary drilling, tapping, and threading. Performs necessary welding as required.Understands machine control logic and programming methods including robotic programming and can modify positions as required.Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures, ensures compliance with engineering specifications and/or codes.
Estimates time and material costs of various projects; requisitions new supplies and equipment.
Skills Required:Reads and understands blueprints, uses precision instruments. PLC/PC base skills are preferred.
