Mechanic - Heavy Diesel

We are currently looking for an individual to fill a position at the Orlando Airport.
BASIC FUNCTION
Perform maintenance and repairs on ground support equipment, baggage systems, boarding bridges, and facilities.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.Performs servicing/repairing, lubricating, cleaning, period checking of automotive equipment and facilities.
2.Installing and checking of fire extinguishing equipment.
3.Lay-out, planning and execution of complex maintenance assignments requiring skills of one or more of the maintenance trades, such as electrician, plumber, steamfitter, carpenter, painter, auto mechanic, millwright, heating, and air conditioning engineer, or other similar skilled journey trades.
4.Perform the sequence of operations to troubleshoot, disassemble, clean, check, repair, rework, replace, fabricate, install and adjust any building component, plant equipment, automotive and ground equipment, machinery, accessories, parts, etc., and explaining the work procedures to personnel assigned to assist in that work.
5.Work according to Company regulations and procedures, and instruction from Crew Chief, Supervisor, or Manager.
6.Completes forms connected with his work assignments according to established procedures.
7.Will communicate with other Company personnel as required in a manner designated by the Company.
8.Will perform additional duties/assignments as may be required by management.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
·Minimum high school diploma or its equivalent
·Skills of one or more of the maintenance trades such as electrician, plumber, steamfitter, carpenter, painter, auto mechanic, millwright, heating, air conditioning engineer, or other similar skilled journeyman trades.
·Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within field.
·Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively
