Marketing Coordinator / Analyst

Area of Accountability:

Support and manage product projects and product development initiatives, conduct market research and analysis and assist in the development of marketing strategy.

Major Responsibilities:

-Provide assistance managing product programs, developing product definitions in order to meet customer product requirements. Support SID and NPR processes.
-Maintain customer and competitor market-based information databases.
-Provide consistent intra-company communication supporting for project management between sales, technical service and engineering activities.
-Conduct market research and analysis within assigned product segments, in support of marketing and business planning activities. Assist in writing product development business plans.
-Coordinate and monitor movement of product development activities throughout the organization to insure that program deliverables and due dates are maintained.
-Participate in project and team management activities. Manage projects and product development teams as required.
-Promote appropriate product communications both internally and with the Field Sales organization
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, or Business Administration or related field. MBA preferred
-Product management, Engineering, Purchasing or Sales and/or Marketing experience, preferably in transportation or transportation-related industry or engineered products-industry preferred.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Mechanical aptitude with high technical competency
-Computer literate – Word/WordPerfect, Excel, PowerPoint
-Good analytical skills
