Regional Sales Manager / Molding Machines and Equipment

Client is a leading manufacturer of world class injection molding machines and related automation. This is a highly successful company expanding market share worldwide with stunning advances in molding technology and machine design, reliability, quality, and customer service. We seek a Regional Sales Manager to direct sales of Injection Molding Machines and equipment in the South and Southeast.

The Regional Sales Manager will be a seasoned sales professional with solid technical skills in injection molding technologies and polished presentation, interpersonal, and sales management. Duties will involve the Regional Sales Manager in working with both direct and third party sales personnel.

Responsibilities include:

Development of territory sales forecast, budget, and action plan.
Selection, training, and management of Sales Representatives (Direct and Third Party).
Continual development of new and the strengthening of relationships with existing customers.
Communication of market intelligence to continually improve company products and services.
Extensive travel within sales territory.
REQUIREMENTS

BS in Engineering or Technology (preferred) and a minimum of 8 or more years of experience specific to Technical Sales of Injection Molding Equipment.
Strong technical understanding of injection molding equipment and processes AND
A track record to successful sales and customer development.
Proven ability to organize and lead both direct and third party sales personnel.
