Salary
Normal Hiring Range: $57,595 - $88,316 Per Year

Key Responsibilities
Supervise maintenance employees in the repair, maintenance, cleaning, and servicing of the bus fleet and other vehicles. Communicates rules, policies, safety regulations, and labor contract information; monitors attendance; supervises, counsels, and disciplines employees; resolves discrepancies; and enforces safety rules. Performs inspections and prepares reports.

Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma with eight to eleven years automotive engineering, business management or related field and four to seven years automotive engineering or similar experience. Prefer five years lead or supervisory experience. Ability to obtain a California Class A/B with Passenger Endorsement Commercial License with Air Brakes. May work any shift and any day of the week including weekends. Work involves inspection in areas where heavy equipment is in operation and where fumes from buses are present. Some climbing/lifting is required.

Critical Success Factors
Knowledge of administration, supervision and training practices; safety regulations; and vehicle maintenance and cleaning techniques. Ability to train/supervise, analyze situations effectively, meet schedules, and prepare/maintain reports.
