Logistics Specialist

Logistics SpecialistWorld's largest auto remarketing organization seeks Logistics Specialist to organize and monitor the scheduling and dispatching of assignments to internal, independent, and third party vehicle inspectors.Basic Responsibilities:
*Ensure resources are maximized and costs are minimized while meeting clients service level agreements
*Insure responsive and effective service to our Clients and their customers while coordinating the proper flow of information to and from Vehicle Inspectors as promptly and efficiently as possible
*Must be able to logically consider and prioritize multiple variables such as volume trends, ghost markets, time sensitive requests, multiple inspectors in a single region, corresponding regions, and client agreements etc.. while analyzing and creating efficient scheduling*In conjunction with customer care agents (Call Center), schedule appointments for Vehicle Inspectors*Properly utilize maps and tools to arrange efficient schedules
*Identify, document, and address the exceptions that the scheduling system produces*Work with Management and other departments to continually monitor and develop process flows
*Other duties as assigned by ManagerSkills and Experience
-Minimum of 3 years experience in dispatch required on a national level
-Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field
-Ability to work multiple shifts as designated by department needs (Some shifts begin as early as 4:30 AM)
-High School diploma or equivalent -2+ years customer service experience
-Must possess excellent problem solving skills
-Proficient data entry & PC skills
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Good organizational and time management skills-Ability to multitask
-Dependable
