Lawn Equipment Service Technician (mechanic)

We are a John Deere Dealer looking for service technicians (mechanics) to repair lawn equipment. Equipment we sell and service includes lawn tractors, commercial mowers, utility vehicles, weed trimmers and chain saws. Job duties include inspection, reconditioning, repair, assembly and service of these types of equipment.
We are a well established, customer focused John Deere Dealer offering a full time position with full benefits. Our company has been family owned and operated since 1923. We also sell and service Farm Equipment and Light Construction Equipment.

Salem, Wisconsin is 12 miles west of Kenosha, or 4 miles north of Antioch, Illinois
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have a basic knowledge of small engines, lawn equipment, diagnosis and repair procedures.
Must supply own hand tools in a tool box or tool chest. We supply special tools, jacks, air compressor, etc.
Other requirements:
Able to pass a physical exam.
Able to read, write and speak English.
Able to read and understand English technical manuals.
Able to read and understand computerized English technical data.
Able to work on feet minimum of 4 hours per day.
Able to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds frequently and safely.
Able to legally drive a car or pickup safely.
