Inventory Control Group Leader

Support manufacturing long-term business and budget planning. Provide project management for establishing a consolidation center to optimize part by part supply chain. Conduct logistics and inventory optimization studies to establish lean material handling system. Lead ERP system (Global PC Services) launch for Inventory Control Module. Control Inventory accuracy to optimize build out and part ordering. Analyze material flows and propose innovative approaches for supply chain improvements using Quality Control Tools. Analyze capabilities and plan characteristics compared to competitive benchmarking targets. Summarize plant layout effectiveness and provide report to Division Managers.
REQUIREMENTS
Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Logistics Management and two (2) years of experience in the Automotive Industry specifically with Quality Control Tools and Advanced Project Management. Experience must include one (1) year of experience with global parts procurement, ERP Systems, Inventory Control management techniques, and Industrial Facility Layout Design. Must also be proficient in MS Excel, MS WORD, MS PPT, MS Project, Lotus Notes Visio, AutoCAD, 3DSSPP and Arena.
