Insurance Manager

*Insures the efficient operation of all aspects of the Insurance department in the KS region.
*Responsible for the development and directing of objectives and action plans which support all financial and non-financial unit goals.
*Strives for efficiency within the office and develops a teaming process with all departments.
*Overall responsibility for hiring, developing, training and evaluating employees. Ensures that staffing levels and schedules are in place to assure that members/clients are provided prompt courteous and efficient service and that sales goals are met. Coach employees by providing on the job training and development.
Partakes in community activities that enhance the company's recognition and image.
*Participates on teams as assigned and in company function demonstrating leadership,diplomacy, product, services and operations knowledge.
REQUIREMENTS
*4 year college degree or experience and training in lieu thereof
*5+ years experience in office operations management in an insurance service/sales environment preferred.
*Knowledge of policies and procedures relating to sales and service operations
*Ability to develop operating budget and monitor expenditures
*Ability to design develop and implement plans to support budgets
*Excellent communications, public relations and diplomacy skills
*Excellent active listening skills
*Knowledge of sales service marketing desired
*Strong leadership and team building skills
*Ability to utilize computer spreadsheet technology in the analysis and computation of financial date
*Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fraction, percentages ratios and proportions to practical solutions
*Strong presentation skills
*KS Property and Casualty and Life and Health Licenses
