HVAC Product Engineer

We require HVAC engineers for Product Development, Quality, and System Performance with the following experience:

- Originates and develops the analysis methods and test plans for establishing reliability/performance of HVAC systems and their components and determines the ability of the product to comply with customer contractual requirements.
- Acts as the prime technical voice in front of the customer
- Responsible for reliability test planning and reporting, quality, timing and costs for technical issues.
- Performs with general supervision. Assignments are broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity.
- Participates in the negotiation and maintenance of the Technical Requirement Document (TRD) with the support of the Program Manager.
- Generates the engineering document defining component sizes, capacities, and specifications, to be used to design and validate the product.
- Presents the technical data in design reviews, advises and incorporates development activities into designs, coordinates communication between design and test teams.
- Participates in FMEA's.
- Organizes and specifies development tests for assigned systems.
- Reviews and analyzes the system to ensure performance, reliability and safety considerations.
- Participates in the selection of suppliers and quality reviews.
REQUIREMENTS
- Provide mechanical/electrical technical support to Manufacturing, SQA and Quality teams through the implementation of changes to equipment, tooling or methods/processes.
- Initiate problem solving activities and provide mechanical/electric/noise engineering support should customer/end of line rejects or production problems occur due to design, specification or performance of purchased systems or components
- Initiate problem solving activities and provide mechanical/electric/noise engineering support should customer/end of line rejects or production problems occur due to design, specification or performance of internally manufactured systems or components.
- Assure the proper follow - up and closing of problems using data, Valeo or Customer provided methods and problem solving tools.
- Collect and analyze warranty data, in order to provide and implement permanent solutions arising from mechanical/electronics/electric/noise problems.
- Report Functionally to the HVAC Engineering Manager for any Mechanical / Thermal / Thermodynamical / Noise issues or/and Enforcement of Engineering Guidelines
