We have immediate openings for mechanically inclined individuals with a desire to become part of a winning team. As a Service Technician for Brauer, you’ll be joining an organization with a proven 26 year history of leading the market.

If you posses the qualities we’re looking for, you’ll begin by completing an orientation phase lasting 2 – 3 weeks. During this time you’ll work side-by-side with an experienced technician who will give you the knowledge and confidence to start working independently. The work will usually be performed at the customer location and will involve mechanical, electrical or hydraulic repairs on forklift trucks. Some jobs may be dirty, but we supply company uniforms.
Normal work hours are 7:30 - 4:30 Monday through Friday.

Positions from entry level up to senior technicians are available if you qualify. Entry level wages start at over $10.00 and increase with experience.

In conjunction with your desire to learn and advance, we will provide the training you need to move up to senior technician status. Training will include in-house and on-the-job guidance in the nomenclature, theory, and design of the equipment. In addition, formal factory-level training will assist in developing the ability to efficiently troubleshoot and repair problems.

This position allows you to work independently while truly being part of a team with a common goal. You must be highly responsible, dependable, and presentable. Most importantly, you must have a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service.

Forklift Service Technician Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Mechanical repair experience required

· Basic hand tools

· Basic computer skills

· Good driving record

· Good communications skills

· Good paperwork skills

· Stable work history

· Direct forklift repair experience is a plus
· DC electrical experience is a plus

· Hydraulic repair experience is a plus
