Field Service Robot/Manual Paint Tech

Purpose:
A large automotive supplier of training services is looking for a strong production paint specialist that can travel to different OEM facilities and instruct employees on how to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain paint applications equipment. These OEM production facilities are going through new product launches and new equipment changeovers. The training could be in either robotic or manual paint applications.

Candidates must have experience with manual & robotic production paint applications, process, equipment troubleshooting and maintenance. In addition, candidates must have paint experience with large automotive components such as Hoods, Doors, and Deck Lids. Finally, candidates that have experience performing spot repair to components that have been damaged or have had a poor application applied will be highly considered. Ideal candidates will have worked in OEM assembly plants in the paint area as an technician or in field service from a supplier.

Candidates will be traveling 50% of the time throughout the US and sometimes to Canada. Candidates must also have the personality to stand and speak in front of groups in a classroom setting.

$20.00 to $26.00 Hour
