Experienced Product Launch Quality Engineers Needed
Our client is an industry leader in the tier one automotive supplier market and is actively searching for mechanical engineering degreed candidates who have transitioned their manufacturing career into Quality. Specifically, coordinating and APQP for product launches.

Job Description
This position will allow you to take your automotive manufacturing background in engineering and fulfill the all-important role of making sure product launches meet quality standards and are within guidelines set by the industry and the company. Duties include:
Analyze defects and determine their root cause, establish countermeasures, co-operate with analysis team
Plan and execute quality improvement by using FMEA, GA Matrix, and PQCT
Train and educate manufacturing/engineering operators/staff of quality issues
Primary focus will be getting product launches APQP certified, be an integral part of the product launch team

Requirements
We are very interested in talking to candidates with the following qualifications:
Background in automotive manufacturing as an engineer with experience in quality
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering related field
5+ years experience in automotive manufacturing carrying out engineering duties and experience in quality
Resistance welding experienced candidates preferred
