Experienced Dock and Door Mechanic/Technician

OKI Systems Limited, a leader in the material handling industry, has an open position in Indianapolis, Indiana for an experienced Dock & Door Technician.


The Dock and Door Service Mechanic/Technician will:

Install and maintain dock levelers, bumpers, industrial doors and truck restraint devices at customer locations.

Troubleshoot and perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on all dock equipment.

Visually inspect and listen to equipment to locate causes of malfunctions.

Dismantle equipment to gain access to problem area.

Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.

Remove and replace worn or defective parts.

REQUIREMENTS
Candidates will need:

3 or more years of experience installing and repairing dock equipment including dock levelers and restraints.

Welding experience.

Experience installing and repairing high speed doors and other commercial doors.

Excellent customer service skills.
