Engineer

Major Duties Include: Resident Engineer for the GMX215/245 vehicle stabilizing systems. Design mounting brackets as required to meet packaging constraints. Support packaging of the yaw rate / lateral accelerometer used on VSES applications. Release components into the GM system. Resolve technical issues with the customer. Interface with GM performance integration group, pipe engineers, etc. Communicate customer requests to appropriate Bosch engineers. Represent Bosch in a professional manner while at GM. Essential Functions: Act as a Design release Engineer (DRE) role at GM, for the GMX215/245 program. On-site at GM Warren, with all the responsibilities of a GM engineer. Release responsibility for the vehicle stabilizing components into the GM system. Write EWO's, TWO's, BMB's, BSD's, etc. to support builds and releases. Present changes to VAPIR and obtain CAB approval for EWO's. Release 3d math and drawings of HU into the GM system. Co-author with the electrical DRE all core software changes.

Job Requirements:Minimum Requirements Include: BSME or BSEE. Brake System and Chassis knowledge. 2 or more yrs. experience with program management or sales. Good communication skills both oral and written. Preferred: 3-5 yrs. experience with ABS/TCS/ESP products. Familiar with the GM system and release process3.Date:9/8/2006
