Controls Engineer

We currently have multiple openings for experienced and passionate Plant Electrical Engineer- Controls!

1. Must be technically capable of supporting all aspects of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic controls and be able to take projects from concept to build, install and debug.
2. Must be technically capable of understanding all aspects of high voltage distribution systems including transformers and switchgear.
3. Provide support to maintenance departments in the electrical and controls troubleshooting of industrial machinery.
4. Must be technically capable of being point of contact with various vendors during build, runoff and startup of new manufacturing equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

1. BS Degree, Electrical Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience
2. Minimum 3 years of related experience, automotive industry preferred
3. Experience in PLC/CNC programming, preferably Siemens, Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc and Modicon.
4. Experience with SCADA/HMI systems.
5. Candidate should have experience with drives, drive systems and servo controls.
6. Visual Basic, Visual Basic.net, C++ and networking experience preferred.
7. Experience should include familiarity with protective relays, installation and commissioning of equipment and troubleshooting of electrical disturbances at the distribution level.
8. Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and a strong team player willing to work with all levels of the organization.
9. Working knowledge of Auto CAD, Microsoft Excel, MSWord, Power Point and Project.
