Controls Engineer

Purpose: Our Client is a Tier one Automotive supplier in need of a well rounded Controls engineer for their Birmingham, Alabama blanking facility. The right candidate will have strong PLC (Omron,AB,Mitsubishi) programming ability, as well as modification and troubleshooting skills. The candidate should be strong in Autocad, experienced in Variable frequency drives, and familiar with robotics (ABB).
The main duties of this position are;
- Simplifying existing Logic
- Working daily with maintenance to regulate and document PLC modifications
- Solve line efficiency issues
-Build electrical schematics for robotic cells
-Building electrical panels
