Bookkeeper

The Gengras Group, a family of automotive and motorcycle dealerships, is located in East Hartford and Meriden. Our lines of business include Volvo, Lincoln, Mercury, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Chevrolet and Harley-Davidson.
We are seeking a Bookkeeper to support our business.Essential Functions:·Cost, post and prepare commission information for automotive sales
·Review & post daily deposit
·Contract in transit
·Close internal repair orders
·Reporting of all retail deliveries
·Submit all service contracts
·Make and post all floor plan payoffs
·Back up billing clerk as needed
·Back up payroll processing as needed

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:ØTwo years of relevant experience, preferable in an automotive environment.
ØExperience in deal processing.
ØWorking knowledge of Reynolds & Reynolds computers, including, spreadsheets.
ØAbility to communicate effectively
ØHigh school diploma. Some college coursework preferred.
