Responsible for reviewing automobile loan applications and underwriting applications based on the loan authority matrix and company guidelines while remaining consistent with system generated scores in a centralized team environment. Must exercise sound judgment while understanding company expectations of both repayment and business objectives. Works under immediate supervision. Defines loan stipulations and works with Loan Processors and aggregators to resolve proper documentation. Handle incoming and outgoing aggregator and customer service calls to negotiate, develop good business rapport and resolve issues. Results responsible on an individual and team basis and able to work at a high volume pace. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Require PC experience and 45 wpm typing.
REQUIREMENTS


Prefer a minimum of 2 years auto credit underwriting experience. Requires flexibility of working different schedules, including Saturday. College degree preferred, but not required with appropriate experience. Candidate must have auto finance background and be familiar with the industry. Good communication and organizational skills are necessary. Some sales experience helpful. Buyer will review credit applications to determine if applicant meets company policies and programs and communicate decisions to dealerships. Work directly with the Branch Manager and Dealer Development Representative to establish relationships. Responsible for reviewing documents and information related to loan decisions for completeness and accuracy and take action as necessary. Must be able to read credit bureaus, be a decision maker and possess above average people skills.
