Summary:
Perform car and bus service, repair, preventative maintenance, in-fleeting service and buy back/turn back service according to Vanguard policy and procedures. This is a position of considerable difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Perform all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.

Responsibilities:
Ensure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines.Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.Perform in-fleet servicing on new cards according to Company procedures.Perform buy back/turn back servicing according to Company procedures.Perform vehicle servicing/repairing to maintain Company standards.Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.Perform related duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
High School degree of equivalent plus two years of automotive technical training at an accredited technical or trade school preferred. Or minimum of 2 years technical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles.4+ ASE certifications required.CDL license preferred. Valid driver's license and clean MVR required.Knowledge of mechanical service procedures to perform fleet maintenance and repair activities.Understanding of all components and systems of current model vehicles in the fleet.Ability to operate an automobile and shop equipment in a safe manner.Ability to operate Tune-up system.Requires ownership of related necessary hand tools.Must have good written and verbal communication skills.Must be able to understand, read and write English.Requires limited travel to attend approximately one training session per year.
