ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Establish long-and short-range goals as directed by the General Sales manager for the salesmen assigned as his/her responsibility.
Guide all salesperson in setting their objectives on a long-and short-range basis.
Recommend to the General Sales Manager the used car inventory to be carried by color, model, and equipment.
Set sales and gross objectives for used car salespeople.
Assist the General Sales Manager in forecasting controllable expense elements for the Used Car Department.
Communicate with assigned salesperson to insure that dealership policies and procedures are understood.
Follow up for enforcement of all policy and procedure requirements.
Evaluate quarterly the gross performance of used car salespeople.
Ensure that used car sales persons plan a day’s work each day.
Review the used car salesperson’ performances as shown on the Daily Sales Operating Control.
Assist in developing programs of improvement for those salesperson failing to reach their objectives.
Recommend for dismissal any sales person failing to meet company standards.
Conduct daily and weekly sales training meetings as directed by the General Sales Manager.
Work with the salespeople on programs that will increase the used car gross and increase F&I penetration.
Require the salespeople follow the company is prospecting program to obtain maximum results.
Evaluate the performance of used car salespersons on a monthly basis.
Coordinate the function of used car sales people with that of the Service Department, Parts Department, Business Office, and the Used Car Make-Ready Department.
Oversee the efforts of used car salespeople to enhance the image of the dealership.
Coordinate with other sales managers in programs that will enhance his/her own personal development.
REQUIREMENTS
Valid Drivers License. Able to set and meet daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals.
