Service Technician

Position Purpose
The Aero Colours® Service Technician is expected to learn an acceptable standard of quality and productivity in the areas of airbrush paint repair, scratch removal and bumper blend repair within ninety days of employment. He/she will dress neatly and conduct him/herself in a professional and courteous manner when representing the company. A willingness to achieve customer satisfaction is required.
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities

• Correctly perform Aero Colours® paint repair process for customers as assigned by your manager.
• Mix and match paint colors using manufacturer’s paint codes and Aero Colours®’ proprietary formula books.
• Remove clear coat scratches through analysis of scratch severity. Select adequate technique/material to repair scratch without burning through to the paint.
• Spray chips and scratches and other surface blemishes using airbrush and matched paint. Remove all over spray and wipe down vehicle to leave it clean.
• Learn application methods of a proprietary bed liner product.
• Develop and maintain wholesale accounts.
• Attention to detail leading to less than 5 incidences of rework per 100 vehicles serviced by the completion of the 90-day probationary period.
• Comply with safety procedures. Follow the guidelines established on the Material Safety Data Sheets. Wear protective gloves or respirator as required.
• Invoice and obtain necessary purchase order and/or signature from the dealer at the completion of the job. Invoices must be legible and all math correct.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and equipment in good working condition. Includes air compressor, air tanks, airbrush, HVLP spray gun, turbine system, van oil changes and safety or emissions checks. Report all needs for vehicle repair to your manager immediately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by your manager.
