Automotive Launch Coordinator

One of the 3 automotive OEM vehicle assembly plants located in Alabama would like to add a person to coordinate product & vehicle launches.

Your choices in alphabetical order are Honda, Hyundai, and Mercedes. All are located almost equally from Birmingham to give you an idea of the location. First year's total compensation should fall in the 80-100K range. Bonus, 401K matching, & other perks kick in after your first year. A pretty good relocation package, too.

You will interface with all manufacturing, assembly, & QA departments within the plant to launch new products & an upcoming new vehicle platform.

You will create a launch team with other employees, and direct the launch effort.

You will report to upper management in the plant.

You will be involved with corrective actions, quality assurance, warranty/customer complaints, and engineering design/change management.





JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A BSME, or engineering degree is highly preferred, but others with the hands-on experience will be considered as well.

2-15 years of recent, hands-on experience covering automotive launches.

In-depth knowledge of Kaizen, Toyota Production Systems, or Six Sigma is a big plus, but not mandatory.

You must hold an active TN or H1-B visa that is transferrable & good English language skills & willing to cover all costs pertaining to the visa, a US Permanent Residency, or US citizenship to be considered.
