THE POSITION
We are currently looking to recruit an analyst with Electronics or Semiconductor knowledge to work for our Automotive Electronics Group, analyzing the electronic content of automotive systems. The positions will be based out of our Austin, TX office.
Initially, the successful candidate will be working closely with the Group Directors, as well as with other market analysts, and will immediately become involved in a multitude of tasks. These will be centered on researching and writing detailed market analysis reports, which involves client liaison (selling/negotiating, marketing, and interviewing), data collection and analysis, constructing market assessments and forecasts, etc. The position will require occasional travel throughout the US and to Europe and Asia.
REQUIREMENTS
THE CANDIDATES
We are looking for a candidate with drive and initiative, who has excellent oral, analytical and written communication skills. The individual must also be comfortable in dealing with customers by telephone and face-to-face, in interview as well as sales situations.
Ideally, the candidate will have some relevant experience, but this is not essential providing that they have an interest in both the business and electronics worlds. The successful candidate will have an electronics, physics, or similar degree and/or major, and a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
Prospective candidates must either be a US citizen, or hold permanent resident status (Green Card).
