DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Verify applicant information when requested by a credit analyst. The information to verify includes, but is not limited to, salary and employment, college degrees, residence. On business only applicants, verifies operating account experience and balances as well as previous auto experience. Verifications are done by phone and/or fax. Maintain and update dealer lists to show the name of the dealership, dealer phone number, analyst’s name and primary dealer contact.
Provides assistance to associates regarding submission of credit applications and payment quotes on associate purchases.
Answers phones when the purchase office hunt group line rings through.
Follows dealers for unpaid rate participation charge backs.
Uses a systematic forms ordering program for SETF provided documents when requested by a dealer.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS STANDARDS:
1. PC skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
2.Must have organizational and time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
3.Must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
4.Must have experience processing lease and/or retail automotive contracts for payment.
5.Basic understanding of accounting procedures.
6.Ability to operate a 10 key calculator by touch.
7.Must possess proficient data entry skills and the ability to type 40 wpm.
8.Strong verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with adeptness in interacting with outside customers as well as members of the team.
9.Above average telephone etiquette, professional demeanor and ability to screen calls professionally.
10.Must be able to work overtime and holidays.
11.Prior automotive dealer experience a strong preferred, may also consider candidates with loan processing experience.
