My client is a Tier 1 supplier to the automotive industry and they are seeking three assembly supervisors for their manufacturing facility near Knoxville, Tennessee.The successful candidate will have between 2 and 5 years of metal assembly experience preferably in the automotive industry or some metals manufacturing company.These individuals will also need skills in welding with the preference being Robotic, MIG and or TIG welding skills.In addition these candidates will need experience with punch press operations, SPC and computer skills with roll forming being a plus but not a must.These three positions will be on the first shift (1) and second shift (2) with a High School diploma needed. College degree would be a plus but not a must.These positions will have several reports and the leaders will be responsible for improving the work process, quality and safety by submitting continuous improvement suggestions.
REQUIREMENTS
The requirements for the Assembly Supervisor positions are as follows:Skills with welding and assembly in an automotive scenario or in metals manufacturing
skills in punch press operations, SPC, computers and metal fabrication are musts with roll forming a definite plus.
High school diploma.
Be responsible for production, safety and quality on the shift.
Continuous improvement.
