Advertising Sales Rep - National Auto

The Charlotte Observer is looking for an experienced professional to join our successful team as an Auto Sales Rep in our national advertising department. This is an exciting opportunity to grow with the largest news source in the area.

This person will grow revenue from an existing base of accounts, largely comprised of advertising agencies. The position handles all aspects of account maintenance, ranging from processing order to resolving credit issues. The National Auto Rep will generate new business by selling our full product line to the clients and their agencies, while also prospecting for new advertisers. The sales rep will keep management apprised of account activity and trends, and maintain ongoing account analysis. This position will also be responsible for making and maintaining contact with key decision makers. BS in Marketing, Business, or Communications, preferred. At least 3 years in sales, marketing or related experience is required, preferably in the newspaper or media sales.
