Account Manager

Global manufacturer is seeking an OE Account Manager for their Heavy Duty OE Sales department. The Account Manager will coordinate companies activities associated with assigned customers including, but not limited sales, marketing, administration, quality, delivery and reporting. He/She will develop and implement strategic plans consistent with company's corporate goals and objectives (i.e. scrap collection, pricing, A/R, EBITDA etc.) Account Manager will develop presentations for new and existing customers and assist in management of company's relationship with the customer. This position will maintain and grow current business; prospect and obtain new business.
REQUIREMENTS
The candidate will have a minimum of an Associates Degree in Business or related field; a 4 year degree is a plus. Candidate will have 5 years Sales and/or Marketing experience. We are looking for someone local. Candidate must be able to maintain an ongoing effort to seek opportunities for increased sales to current and potential customers. Candidate will be responsible for the planning and participation as required in Trade Shows, Dealer Meetings, Product and Program Planning Meetings, Sales Meetings, Regional and National Meetings. They will assist in coordination of company's functional areas to insure customer expectations are met and/or exceeded. He/She will provide project and administrative support as required, including but not limited to product line additions, deletions, changes, improvements, as well as sales promotion and marketing planning. Candidate must maintain high level of industry knowledge, stay in budget, be professional, provide weekly and monthly reports and required, and very able to communicate clearly both written and oral.
