AUTO 3-POSITIONS JOURNEYMAN TECH, S/WRITER, LUBE TECHNICIAN
3-Positions Available - Journeyman technician,Service writer, and Lube Technician
Our company is unique in a way that we have two business's under one roof Auto Repair with Quick Lube. Our Lube center services 700-1200 vehicles monthly, Auto Repair feeds from repeat business on the quick lube side. We employee four Journeyman tech's, eight Lube tech's, Service writers, and a porter. We are family owned with owner on site daily. We are in business now for 24 years and are growing. Currently replacing a journeyman technician (moved to NC) along with a lube technician and adding another service writer.
The Journeyman must have experience able to diagnose all makes, must work well with others be motivated. Able to handle all aspects of the business from inspections to working with service writers. We work on all makes and models including medium duty trucks. We pay guarantee hours plus book time tech can earn 35k-80k. We are looking for a top notch expert to join our team we hire only good people with good attitudes who want to make money.
Lube Technician, must have some experience, Trade school students work out very well. Graduates from places such as LTI, UTI, local colleges. Must be mechanically inclined, always be presentable, must be able to communicate, unlike Jiffy you will be the tech on the car from start to finish must be able to inspect, price, sell, service, and present the client with the invoice. Lube techs get an hourly wage plus a commission on all additional services. Along with this comes an additional commission based on sales from the rear shop off of appointments gotten from the Lube tech who gets the appointment. Our average Lube Tech makes anywhere from $9-$14 per hour based on ability to perform.Addition Service Writer, will write service for techs, must have experience, very fast paced position, must be upbeat, communicate well, presentable, must oversee all operations including Quick lube. Will price out estimates, sell jobs, invoice customers. Pay will be base salary plus commission. Must use our Quick lube center as tool to fill rear shop, can train lube techs to assist in getting additional appointments. A great concept not to many shops can offer.
