This is an exciting position in our Henrietta based contact center! Staples is a rapidly growing company that offers tremendous opportunity for advancement. We work towards the development of our people because only when our associates shine can our organization truly be successful.
This position involves performance of customer service functions which include receiving inbound telephone calls, answering questions on products and services, taking orders, assisting with returns/credits, and other aspects of making it EASY to buy office products.
Job Requirements
The preferred candidate will have:
1. A solid work history,
2. DSL or High Speed Internet,
3. Be available during the hours of 8 am – 8pm, Monday – Friday,
4. Live in the 585 area code,
5. Have an area in which there will be no external distractions.
In addition, all successful candidates must attend an intensive 4-week full-time training program from the hours 8:15am – 5:00pm, Monday-Friday. Thereafter, they must be able to work within the contact center for a period no less than 2 months to ensure their capabilities in terms of systems and policies and procedures.
If you meet the above criteria and possess these skills:
1. Good oral and written communication skills,
2. Excellent organizational skills,
3. Strong MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access),
4. Ability to work independently,
5. Exceptional internal customer service skills;
