Warehouse Clerk (11303)

The purpose of this position is to maintain stock of quality working converters.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


1. Tests returned converters to diagnose performance, using a keyboard and monitor, which is tied to CSG/SETS.

2. Cleans returned converters using an approved and recommended cleaning solvent. Sends inoperable converters for repair, including boxing and shipping converters. * May lift between 10 and 15 lbs.

3. Receives, unloads, stores, records, verifies and reconciles the converter stock by: matching serial numbers on converters upon receipt of stock. * May lift up to 50lbs when loading or unloading and storing converters.

4. Organizes and maintains orderly converter count on a monthly basis using CIL'S. Maintains storage of the converter inventory by tracking serial numbers on issued and received converters. Performs this function by logging serial numbers on CIL'S.

5. Issues materials to system filed technicians and sub-contractors by lifting and carrying converters and other equipment. Tracks converters being issued by logging serial numbers on CIL'S.

6. Recognizes, practices and enforces safety rules and procedures

7. Possible daily warehouse runs to all locations. 8. Will have to use pallet jack, Hilo and handcart.

REQUIREMENTS
Skills include:


lifting and carrying equipment and typing. Must have good verbal, written and interpersonal communications. Must have knowledge of inventory control, familiarity and use of computers, and have basic mathematical skills.


High School diploma or equivalent is required. Inventory control experience is preferred.
