Variable Pay Administration Manager

Basic Purpose: Develop, recommend and implement systems and procedures to process bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual variable pay incentive payments in a timely and accurate manner; Consult with business unit management in the effective design and operation of variable pay plans.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, organize and manage the employee and system resources necessary to ensure the timely and accurate payment of bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual variable pay plan payments.
Develop systems, processes and procedures for optimal organizational execution with regards to accuracy and customer service standards and expectations.
Consult with business unit management in evaluating variable pay plan effectiveness and recommending enhancements to variable pay plan design elements or operating procedures.
Evaluate, recommend and implement cost-effective automated processing systems that streamline administration across multiple business unit variable pay plan platforms and/or requirements.
Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accounting and Sarbanes-Oxley records and documentation.
Develop and implement methods to measure and assess management and employee satisfaction with service levels.Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or IT Administration or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Six years of progressively responsible experience in the implementation and administration of high volume transactional processing systems.

Demonstrated advanced knowledge and use of MS Excel and Access.

Prior work experience as a Business Systems Analyst highly desirable.
