The Decision Management organization for Cards North America is responsible for management of the financial analytic process and creating data that drive profitable and sustainable business growth. This new position will be a key leadership role within the Cards Decision Management organization. He/she will be in individual contributor who will direct and establish policy and standards for Citi Cards functions, coordinating with Corporate and the Citi Cards organization.



Responsibilities include recommendations to senior management and management of implementation of approved enhancements into the control environment. He/she will coordinate across the embedded and centralized DM organization, the quarterly Self-Assessment cycle management and oversight, review results and provide judgment and direction on business issues.  He/she will manage Self-Assessment peer reviews and monitor test execution as a means to identify issues and best practices throughout the Front Office employees for ARR and Regulatory reviews, Continuity of Business and other control related activities. At least seven years experience in a Cards business is required. This position will have visibility with the senior management team through direct communication of control related initiatives. Travel would be less than 25% of the time.



Other essential responsibilities include:

- Interface with internal and external auditors as well as internal compliance officers

- Management of Self-Assessment for the Cards DM, including interfacing with Global DM to ensure consistency in functional requirements

- Management of control and business risk assessment initiatives for Cards Decision Management

- Identification of issues and direction to the function regarding risks and resolution

REQUIREMENTS


Although this position calls for an individual contributor, it requires excellent leadership skills for management of responsibilities including strong influence capabilities, being proactive, strong communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization, the ability to identify weaknesses in the control environment and to drive solutions, strong matrix management skills, and the ability and willingness to work at all levels to complete a task.



Functional skills include a broad understanding of the Citi Cards infrastructure, familiarity with Corporate policies and Regulations, auditing experience is a plus as is project management.



Knowledge includes broad cards experience, Risk and Control Self-Assessment, ASAP and CATS experience, and MS suite of products.



Requires strong matrix management skills and the ability to influence management's understanding of requirements regarding an effective control environment.



Ability to work with Citi Cards employees at all levels in the organization.
