For the underwriting company, we provide the marketing and administrative expertise necessary to maximize their policy sales.Currently, we have an exciting career opportunity for an Underwriting Assistant in the Healthcare Department of Affinity, at our Hatboro, PA office.Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer calls from clients and carrier
Maintain effective and productive client
relationships
Explain policy provisions and procedures to
clients verbally and in written form
Quote, analyze and process complex policy
changes/endorsements
Confirm policy forms and endorsements are
appropriate prior to mailing to the client
Conserve existing business utilizing
established retention methods
Follow up on premium delinquencies
Approve the application of cash to accounts
within established guidelines
Identify and act upon cross selling/upgrade
opportunities with clients
Maintain monthly reports on production,
retention and receivables
Ensure electronic file integrityMINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years of work experience
Insurance and system savvy/problem solving/able
to multi-task
P&C licensure required within six monthsMINIMUM EDUCATION:
