By combining your talent and our strengths, we can acheive great results.Responsibilities Include: This role is as an analyst within the US-Competence Center. US-Competence Center is a new stream of business that will oversee compliance filtering and handling resultant hits. It will reside within the Cash Management and Payments department (CM&P) within Operations.US-Competence Center Analyst will play a key role in monitoring and analyzing messages and payments to ensure compliance with screening and filtering regulations. This will involve working with the Compliance Filter product, adhering to identified procedures and processes in processing messages/payments and decision making.The main tasks of this role are as follows:1) Monitor messages that have been identified as potential hits by the Compliance Filter2) Analyze the potential hits and decide as to what further action is required3) Approve messages as false positives with supporting reasons4) Propose skip entries based on the repeat events for Compliance approval5) Prioritize messages within the Compliance Filter to ensure execution within the cut off time limits6) Liaise and follow up with Compliance and communicate to relevant internal business units7) Generate adhoc / scheduled reports8) Propose and implement improved processes9) Contribute to the repository of best practices and training materials Key competency requirements are: Ability to analyze and make decisions Ability to handle volumes without compromising quality Appreciation for timely execution Detailed knowledge of SWIFT messages, particularly, series MT1 & 2 messages and currency cut-off times Attention to detail is essential Ability to strictly conform to procedures and processes Interface and communicate with a wide range of individuals within the organization Ability to perform under pressure and to tight deadlines Strong risk awarenessThe candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team. There will be a requirement for them to work to strict deadlines and at times in a pressurized environment. The candidate must be able to work a full-time night-shift schedule which is 11pm EST – 8am EST. Additionally, this individual will require initial training for the first 1-3 months of joining during day-shift schedule.Competencies: Drives progress in line with management expectations Strong communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with people at all levels Strong interpersonal skills.
