Transcription Support Specialist

This position is in-office, full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Answering the incoming customer service line for proper routing and/or independent handling of requests.

Troubleshooting customer support issues.

Implementation of new accounts, involving setting up letterhead, templates, macros, and managing account details.

Simultaneously working between several applications, including Windows folders and web-based solutions.

Identifying growth and providing justification for additional resources needed to maintain commitment of turnaround time.

Communicating with internal team members, including technical support, sales, and management.

Documenting of customer service calls or issuance of work orders to the appropriate staff.

Occasional on-call, after hours phone coverage

ZyDoc provides medical transcription solutions and services to facilities located throughout the U.S. We're experiencing tremendous growth and are currently seeking a TRANSCRIPTION SUPPORT SPECIALIST for our Hauppauge, Long Island, NY office. Our organization has been in the medical electronic record business for over 10 years.
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent telephone and electronic communications skills.

Healthcare professional experience a plus.

Medical terminology, transcriptionist, or editor experience a plus.

Any college education a plus.

Excellent verbal and writing skills.

Experience working with clients.

Must be detail oriented.

Ability to multi-task.

Strong analytical skills.

Quick learner.

Ability to prioritize.

Proficient with Microsoft Office.
