Technical Support Rep I
Responsible for diagnosing, testing, repairing and maintenance of digital subscriber equipment, following warranty programs and first and second echelon procedures. Perform "quick fixes", IMEI swaps, software upgrades and programming subscriber equipment. Provides technical support to customers and internal employees. Enter customer repair data into local market database to ensure proper tracking of all repairs, in warranty and out of warranty, upgrade/replacements, steps, and swaps. Accurately completes work orders and paperwork for shipping, warranted and non-warranted phone to Motorola for repair/refurbish. Responsible for trouble shooting & repairing Sprint & Nextel units for customers in a Retail enviroment.. Must keep up on method & procedures as they change. Responsibilities will also include face to face customer contact, knowledge of customer options, ability to answer moderate to complex customer questions, inventory counts and special projects as requested.
