Team Coordinator
The Thomson Learning Career and Professional Group (CPG) is
seeking to hire an SBU Coordinator. This position provides administrative
support to the SBU Vice President. In addition, this individual manages
all of the SBU’s financial and periodic reports, ensuring their accuracy
and timeliness to monitor and help achieve SBU goals.This job
description reviews the general responsibilities and minimum requirements
of the position. Additionally, your manager(s) will review the specific
expectations of the position to reflect full understanding of the role

CPG. Need to also proactively support and promote One TL initiatives.SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Duties & Responsibilities:Facilitates communications between SBU members and internal/external
business partners.Evaluates communications to determine who and how to handle issues. This
includes routing callers appropriately, prioritizing tasks, processing
mail, messages, and e-mail as required.Creates yearly CIM plan, based on copyright reports and editorial
tracking sheets. Tracks progress for all CIM data and prepares variance
summaries weekly. Distributes weekly CIM reports to SBU. Prepares and
submits Product Activity report based on CIM data monthly.Issues monthly Operating Expenses compliance report and if necessary
implements measures necessary to correct significant variables.Prepares financials for SBU Monthly report. Collects monthly reports
from internal staff member to assist with the preparation of the SBU ’s
report by the deadline established.Inputs yearly budgets in JDE to facilitate reporting and monitoring as
needed.Handles sensitive documents and information, such as performance reviews,
bonus plans, merit salary increases and any other documents specifically
identified as sensitive, with confidentiality and discretion. Handles any
information related to personnel issues in a confidential, professional
manner.Coordinates, compiles, and disseminates annual Strategic Plan.Extracts sales data from Datawarehouse and prepares sales reports as
requested.Researches sales histories of projects and lists as requested.Coordinates all travel for all SBU members in accordance with the Company
travel policy manual.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have an Associates degree.3 to 5 years of administrative office experience or equivalent
combination of education and experience required.Strong organizational skills required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in Lotus Notes, Filemaker Pro, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
required.Willingness to learn and gain proficiency in Thomson Learning proprietary
computer software.Bachelors degree, publishing and financial reporting experience strongly
desirable.
