Systems Administrator/ Trainer

Customer Operations provides installation, training, and support for Medical Equipment Corporation products. This position represents a entry-level career track position within Customer Operations.

Essential Functions:• Specialize in installation and user training of both the drug compounding and drug verification hardware•
Technical functions:• Troubleshooting Windows-based direct entry software• Setup and training of medical device• Provide telephone and onsite technical support of company systemsJob Requirements
Duties/Responsibilities to accomplish Essential Functions:

Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:• Up to 40% travel to customer sites nationwide for installations, must be able to travel Monday through Wednesday every other week• Use Customer Issue System, MS CRM, Email and other internal systems to process installation documentation• Train adults on use of equipment and software• Follow company policies and procedures regarding product use, function, installation and support• Revisit, retrain customers as needed• Provide consultation to customers on compounding workflow as needed • Record calls properly in the Customer Relationship Management system according to procedure

Job Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
• Basic understanding of Local Area Networks
• Ability to setup PC Hardware and troubleshoot hardware conflicts
• Ability to present and train systems to pharmacists and pharmacy staff
• Ability to travel in the U.S. and Canada a minimum of 40%, including occasional overnight and weekend travel with additional travel as required
• Basic understanding of chemistry or medications helpful
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in person and by phone
• Current valid drivers license
• Ability to learn technical details quickly, and utilize knowledge in person and during phone support
• Basic knowledge of Windows 2000 & Windows XP
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Education or Formal Training:
• High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree in business or physical sciences strongly preferred

Experience:
• Previous technical support experience preferred
• Previous project management experience preferred
