Student Accident Administrator

Provide administrative and technical support to the Risk Management Department in the management of occurrences and student accident claims.

Essential Functions:

- Make initial contact with parent/legal guardian when a child has received an injury, in a center or company vehicle, requiring medical attention.
Verify student accident claims with field management.
Contact families and customers concerning risk-related incidents arising at center.
Provide data entry of student accident, liability and occurrences into the database.
Prepare request for payment and check requests for delivery to Accounts Payable.
Evaluate, approve and process reimbursements to customers and medical providers.
Prepare correspondence to customers and medical providers as needed.
Maintain Human Resources Call Center data, including Customer Care updates.
Notify Human Resources Call Center of all student injuries requiring medical attention.
Handle Risk Hotline calls as necessary.

Experience and Education:

- 2 + years experience in insurance industry and/or customer service desired.
High school diploma required.
Bachelor's degree desired.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with concerned parents is required.
Excellent customer service skills required.
Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Word and Excel highly desired.
Problem solving, organizational and prioritizing skills highly desired.
