Performs a variety of operational duties, including but not limited to recruiting, interviewing, screening, hiring, and assigning temporary employees to job assignments. Oversees job performance of our temporary employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs duties in all areas of office operations.
Knows all aspects of our customers work environments, job requirements and additional info.
Instructs applicants on completing employment applications, reviews applications for
completeness, and obtains additional information from applicants such as work experience,
education, training, skills, and references. Ensure all new employees are familiar with company
policies and procedures. Provides information to applicants regarding application process,
employment policies, organization, and open positions.
Conducts interviews with viable employment candidates for detailed information and assessment
of skills, abilities and work history.
Verifies and obtains reference and work history information from prior employers, educational
organizations, individuals and other sources. Administers and scores tests given to applicants.
Enters applicant information into computer database in a timely manner.
Manages records of resumes, applicant flow, and employee selection. Maintains data on applicant flow, interviews, hires, transfers, and terminations. Updates applicant information in computerized applicant tracking systems. Enters job placements and applicant information into computer databases or files.
Hires, orients and places qualified employees on job assignments.
Maintains work order register. Reviews job orders and match employees according to job requirements. Informs employees of job duties, responsibilities, compensation, work schedule and work conditions.
Develops and maintains updated files of active, inactive and availability lists to ensure effective assignment of personnel to job orders.
Maintains continual contact with all temporary employees to ensure the highest quality of available talent to our clients.
Performs service calls to clients for additional business. Skill markets available employees to clients.
Constantly seeks new and more effective techniques to recruit and retain qualified employees. Develops and maintains contact with educational institutions, employment agencies, and other sources of applicants. Participates in job fairs and on-campus interviews. Tracks recruitment activities and applicant flow.
Develop comprehensive awareness of customer needs through complete and detailed customer profiles, client orders and job descriptions. Obtains clear understanding of the requirements of the work to be performed on the client's site to provide the best candidate for the client's needs.
Evaluates job orders in conjunction with the Operations Manager to determine whether orders can be serviced by the office.
Ensures credit applications are received and screened on all new and reinstated clients.
Follows-up on each client order to confirm employee arrival and customer satisfaction.
Follows-up on any unfilled orders, determining any potential services we can offer to accommodate particular situations.
Ensures all clients’ needs are met. Notifies the Operations Manager of customer requests, changes in status, and all problems/concerns.
Ensures accurate and timely work order entry.
Establishes and properly maintains client and employee files.
Develops and maintains positive relationships with all current and potential employees and clients.
Establishes relationships with clients to ensure strong service levels and continued business.
Visits customers on a regular basis to ensure expectations are being met and satisfaction levels
remain high. Obtains feedback for improved service opportunities.
Performs activities associated with weekly employee payroll. Processes weekly payroll assuring appropriate pay and bill rates are utilized and all State and Federal Tax Withholding guidelines are followed.
Assists Operations Manager with Workers' Compensation claims information to be forwarded in a timely manner to Risk Management.
Assists Operations Manager in office bookkeeping functions, such as invoicing, data entry, accounting reports, payroll and closing out each day/week.
Ensures the internal and external cleanliness of the office.
Complies with all company policies.
Performs other duties as prescribed by management.
