Sr Customer Support Specialist - New York Metro area

This position is located in the New York metro area.



Provide Customer Service Engineering technical support to major Air Transport, Business and Regional customers. This position requires an extensive background in troubleshooting of all avionics systems including In-Flight Entertainment Systems, ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, blueprints and installation drawings. Identify and resolve customer support issues in a timely manner, be customer focused and provide a level of support that will result in a high level of customer satisfaction, improved equipment reliability and reduced cost of ownership. Provide on the job instruction to customers on the theory of operation and troubleshooting of Collins equipment both on board the aircraft and in the shop.

Assist the Rockwell Collins Sales and Marketing team by identifying new business opportunities, lending technical expertise in meetings and provide technical input on new business initiatives, ability to make and give presentations on Rockwell Collins products and services.

This position requires excellent technical, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills. The ability to establish strong relationships with all levels within the customer's organization is essential. This position also requires relocation within the United States as required to align with customer locations.





This position requires US Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card).
REQUIREMENTS
This job requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
