Functional Area: Human ResourcesPosition Description: The position has the overall responsibility for timely and accurate processing of assigned employee HR records including new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, transfers, employment verifications and hard copy corporate employee files and to ensure CHRC compliance for new hires and transfers prior to entering into HRIS. Audits new hire packets to ensure CHRC compliance for all covered employees prior to new hire or transfer into a covered position is entered into HRIS. Enters data for newly hired employees into HRIS, including contact information, cost center information, job title information, and starting salary. Enters leave of absence information into HRIS, including returns from leave and leave extensions, and transfers. Enters transfer and termination information into HRIS. Ensures all termination documentation is received, including Notice of Separation, Property Clearance, Employment Summary, and department file. Maintains paper physical files for all terminated employees with the assistance of the HR Records Clerk. Process Employment verifications in a timely manner. Provides assistance and acts as back up for all functions performed by other Sr. Specialists and HR Records Clerks.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma/GEDExperience: Not IndicatedPosition Requirements: Demonstrated high level of integrity including absolute confidentiality
1-2 years of work experience on Cyborg or other HRIS program preferred.
Knowledge of Airline culture, policies and procedures
Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of employees, think creatively and solve problems
Demonstrated ability to prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations based on sound judgment
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines handle heavy work volume with a minimum of supervision
Ability to understand work rules and procedures
High level of customer service
