Special Events Director

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a leading non-profit health care organization, is seeking an enthusiastic fundraising professional for our Greater Cincinnati Chapter based in to implement our Cincinnati Great Strides Walk, a young professionals event, a Halloween run and other events. This Director of Special Events will be responsible for the planning and execution of events, including recruitment of event participant’s, volunteers, sponsors, committee members and expanding the existing support base. Other duties include: solicitation of funds from the corporate sector, management of event budgets and building relationships with CF families. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in non-profit fundraising and special event management; experience in providing strategic direction and practical oversight to a full range of special events including walks; excellent communication skills and corporate contacts in Cincinnati and the surrounding areas.
