Site Coordinator II

Coordinates administrative and operational activities of physician practice site to include supervision and staffing, business/fiscal practices (payroll, petty cash, invoice reconciliation, cash management), safety and OSHA/CLIA compliance, medical record and patient confidentiality, coding and charge entry, information systems, facility management, purchasing and inventory management, patient relations, and adherence to ACP policy and procedure. As an integral part of the front office team, performs reception and patient referral duties. Serves as primary liaison to ACP administrative offices and other practice sites.
REQUIREMENTS
HS diploma (or equivalent) and at least 3 years experience in 1 of the following areas, preferably within primary care - clinic/physician practice operations, patient accounting/billing, insurance claims processing, or other areas relating to physician practice operations. Working knowledge of ICD-9, CPT and HCPCS coding and Medicare guidelines. Understanding of managed care, eligibility and referral guidelines. At least 1 year experience utilizing computerized scheduling/patient accounting system. Preferred experience includes 1 year of supervisory and charge entry responsibilities.
