Shoe Lacing Associate

Position Accountabilities:

Assures the accurate reception, return and tracking of all item samples for photography.
Receive all sample shipments.
Verify that all samples requested were sent.
Note and report any discrepancies to the lead photographer.
Reorder any missing samples
Account for and return all samples back to the warehouse once the photographic process is completed.
Track all samples through the entire photography process


Assures the proper preparation of all items for photography.
Accurately and legibly fills out item tags containing the item brand, style name and color.
Properly prepares items for photography. This includes removing items out of their boxes or bags and placing them on the top of their bags or boxes. Removing and saving any packaging material, stickers and tags. Properly stuffing, wiring, lacing and tieing all items as needed.
Assist photographer during the actual photography if requested to do so.


Assures all items are returned to the warehouse in “factory fresh” condition.
All shoes, bags and accessories are re-tissued, re-stuffed, repackaged with all hang tags re-attached to give a “factory fresh” look, ready for our customers.

Position Essential Functions:

Using organizational skills to keep an accurate account of all photographic samples being received, photographed and returned. Using time management skills in order to keep a steady and consistent flow throughout the photography process. Using team work skills so to work closely with the photographers and photo finishers, assisting them when needed, to insure the best possible photograph for all items.
REQUIREMENTS
Position Specifications:

Educational Preference:

High School Graduate or equivalent.

Job Experience Preference:

Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline-based environment.
Communication, flexibility, multi-tasking.
Time management skills
Neat and legible hand writing
Retail shoe experience a plus


Software/Hardware Experience Preference:

Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel a plus
Keyboarding skills a plus


Physical Specifications:

Must be able to sit and stand for at least 2-3 hours at a time
Must be able to reach above their head
Must be able to bend down
Must be able to lift and move 25 pounds
Must be able to tie bows
Must be able possess enough finger flexibility to lace shoes and fasten shoe buckles
