Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description:
• Business wide revenue, expense and variance analysis.
• Monthly close, analysis and forecasting.
• Assist in communicating and monitoring compliance with financial policies.
• Prepares and analyzes detailed balance sheet reconciliations for certain assets and liabilities.
• Prepare account analysis, reconciliations, journal entries, and other various project analysis.
• Utilize Hyperion system to input, retrieve and display accounting information.
• Recommend process improvements to continuously improve accounting accuracy and timeliness.
REQUIREMENTS
* Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. MBA is a plus.
• CPA is a plus.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls is required.
• Working knowledge of financial statement preparation.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Must be very detail oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Good project management skills.
• Proficiency with Hyperion Financial Reporting System and/or Oracle a plus.
• Must be capable of interacting with senior management and plant operations managers with ease
