SSC - ACCOUNTS RECIEVABLE MANAGER

As the SRC Accounts Receivable Manager you will foster a customer service culture / operating principle / philosophy in all interactions with dealerships and customers.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

o Assist dealerships as they are added to the SRC

Accounts Receivable - Parts and Service
o Implementation and enforcement of Company Credit Policy
o Credit limits on new accounts
o Extension of credit on existing accounts
o Approval of credit override phone calls from the stores
Processes
o Name file maintenance for parts and service wholesale customers (credit and cash)
o Timely collection of trade receivables
o Correction of posting errors to customer accounts
o Support customers with issues regarding statements, charges, credit limits, etc.
o Provide the Region Office with any necessary information regarding problem accounts

Accounts Receivable - Extended Warranties and Body Shop
o Ensure timely collection/monitoring extended warranty and body shop receivables at each dealership
o Contact service managers and dealership controllers regarding specific over-aged claims
o Make determination along with SRC Director if outside assistance is needed to collect outstanding claims and ensure balances are current
o Summarize and report issues to the Region office monthly

Accounts Receivable - NSF Returned Items
o Posting of all bank return Items to the respective dealership's general ledger
o Monitor each dealership's NSF collection activity
o Record bad debt reserves on each dealership's general ledger monthly
o Summarize and report open items to the Region office
o Intermediary between the check guarantors (such as Telecheck) and the dealerships

Required Qualifications:
Education Requirements:
o Bachelor of Science (BS) Business Administration
Experience Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
o 3-5 years management experience
o 3-5 years relevant experience in credits and collections
o Retail automotive experience
o CPA, CMA, or other certifications in credit or collections
