SR Process Analyst
BASIC FUNCTION
Under the general direction of Director - Product Availability, this analyst will develop metrics and reporting, perform root cause analyses and identify, prioritize and implement key process improvements within the Product Availability organization to help improve product availability, on-time delivery and inventory turnover performance.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Jointly work with others in our internal supply chain to identify and implement major opportunities. Focus on continuous process improvements by using six sigma and lean tools to identify and implement key process improvement activities in the areas of product availability and inventory management.
Provide root cause analyses to identify and prioritize areas for improvement related to product availability, on-time delivery and excess/obsolete/misplaced inventory.
Projects will focus on initiatives that improve product availability, on-time delivery and inventory turnover (DOS) including such projects as support for inventory stocking positions for rollout of mixing D.C.s as well as Supply Network Planner (SNP) and Demand Planner implementation.
Monitor results to make sure continuous improvements are maintained and benefits are sustainable over the long term.
When significant opportunities outside of the realm of the Fixtures Supply Chain/Product Availability areas are identified, partner with other departments and teams for resolution as assigned.RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
Supervisory Relationships:
Reports to Director - Product Availability
Organization Relationships:
Frequent contact with Managers of S&OP, Master Schedulers, Forecast Analysts and other Customer Service and Supply Chain directors, managers, supervisors, team leaders and front-line associates.
Some contact with Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales Managers.
External Business Relationships:
Occasional contact with distribution chain, including distributors and retailers.
Attend seminars, trade shows and user groups for process improvement and supply chain support.

Accredited four-year degree required. MBA preferred. Minimum five years total work experience in Supply Chain Planning environment. Preferred experience with SAP and Demand Planning/DRP systems (SNP, Manugistics, I2 or other similar), S&OP and Order Management.
