The Company:Our client is one of the world’s largest and oldest privately held companies based in the US. This client boasts over 70 billion in revenue, 130,000 employees, and 1100 facilities across 60 countries.
The Position:Our client is seeking a sharp Senior HR Generalist. This is a newly created position to provide strategic support to 21 locations and over 1000 employees across the US. This position will be located at the corporate office but will be highly visible in the field. The SR HR Generalist will be responsible for partnering with management to effectively align HR initiatives with the business.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate must be able to forge and maintain relationships with plant leadership and plant employees. Must have 5-7 years experience in a plant environment. Must have the ability to effectively facilitate diverse teams. The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS preferably in HR related field (MBA/PHR/SPHR a strong plus) and excellent written and oral skills as this person will be making presentations to key members of management.DESCRIPTION:

The Senior HR generalist will be directly involved in many aspects of embedded HR activities and will assist in executing the HR Delivery Model and Business Plan, as well as, challenge current processes and develop and deploy new processes as appropriate.
Principal Accountabilities:
60% Business Partner/HR Leadership: Support BU management in establishing and leading BU/HR strategies to ensure achievement of business objectives. Ensure successful deployment of HR strategies and tactics to the BU. Serve as the main point of contact/consultant for both Function and Location Managers on employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance issues. Assist/Advise/Influence BU leadership, managers, and supervisors with day-to-day HR related issues. Provide proactive, innovative, and customer focused HR solutions that are based on knowledge of the BU, employees, and established objectives.25% HR process implementation and administration: Work closely with the appropriate HR/shared service representative on the execution/deployment of strategies for compensation/JAQ, PeopleSoft, Employee Engagement, BLC/Talent Development, & Performance Management
